Thank you for this. When I started advocating for the people of Darfur I met a Lost Boy that told me that people from Darfur were used to victimize their communities. He still wanted to help them because he felt the enemy was the manipulation of the Government. I was so in awe of his discernment...
Hi Amy, I have been reading some of your blogs that i found out about through Nicholas Kistoff's guest post and I find them really interesting. I admire the work you are doing and all that you are learning. I spent 6 months in Tanzania and recently graduated with a degree in International Peace and Conflict Resolution so we have some similar interests. I am wondering how you got involved with the organization that you are working with. My goal is to get back to East Africa to live and work so I am trying to make as many connections as possible. Any insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
